[Kira The Dragon Master]

The Elves have lived in peace for hundreds of years, but a new evil has risen. Though they try to stay in their beautiful homes, they cannot escape the fate that calls to them all.

A single Elf holds the fate of all the Middle-Earth in her hands. Along with those who care, can she rise to defeat the evil that threatens her home?

[[So, is this based off Lord of the Rings? I LOVE those films so I'm eager to know xD I was thinking of posting one like this, but I saw there was already one up ]]

[[ I had to think a lot before posting xD]]
I was awoken by the soft sound of breathing, and a gentle nudging against my shoulder. Prising my eyes open, Eoen, my dapple grey mare, was nudging me. As soon as I awoke, she calmed, and grazed next to me. Groaning, I slowly got to my feet, brushing off some dirt from my cloak and trousers. With weary eyes I gazed over the hills to Rivendell, the town of the Elves. I was on a journey there, to seek medicines for my ill friend back in Rohan. It had been no longer than 5 days journey, with very few stops. it had been constant delays all the way, having to take ways around because of al the armies on the move. What was going on, I had no clue.

Marowen stood with her hands clasped together at her waist. She gazed out over a balcony made of silver, into the beautiful town called Rivendell. Her home. Her porcelein-like face was expression-less, as most Elve's faces were. She heard a footstep behind her, and turned to see her father there. "Marowen, you cannot stand there all day." He said in a calm voice to her. "Father, if I do not stand here I shall have no where to go." She replied, her voice soft as a lullaby. "Rivendell is yours, my daughter. You are free to go where you wish." Though his voice was as calm as before, there was a hint of dismissal in it. She moved away from the balcony, down towards the rest of the town. She moved slowly, taking in each thing. Thoughts zoomed through her head, and many of the Elves gave her a slight bow before going back to their own thoughts.

[Rorah]

Once I had gathered my thoughts, I mounted Eoen in one swift movement, and she moved forwards with only a slight tap of her sides. The hills were steep, but they'd be no trouble for a skilled horse like her. She handled the rocky decent well, her hooves treading in all the small crevices and cracks. All I had to do was lean back in the saddle, and let her find her own way down. Minutes later, we were down. She shook her mane, sending whiffs of rubble and dust this way and that. Sighing, I looked at the beautiful town of Rivendell, then up and down myself. "I don't belong here." I laughed. "But I need those medicines." Cautiously, I urged Eoen into a steady trot, then a canter, getting ever closer.



[[Eoen is pronounced ay-oh-ayn xD Oh, and she wears shin-high black boots as well xD I forgot to mention.]]

Marowen reached the far end of Rivendell, more-so towards the outskirts of the forest. She closed her eyes and let out a light sigh. Footsteps around her caused her to open them again, and she saw a group of Elven Soldiers heading for the very edge of the forest. She turned to one questioningly. "We have a guest." Was all he replied with, then continued on his way. Soon the band of Elves disappeared into the forest, and a green light was cast upon Marowen yet again. Peace engulfed her as she studied every aspect of her home.

[Rorah]

I had never been to Rivendell before, and my first impression was quite astonishing. I could see that the buildings were beautiful, yes, but what I saw also was about 10-15 Elven soldiers rucking towards me, bows in hands. I had no idea what I had done, but they all stood in a defensive line.
"I'm expected?" I stammered humorously.

[Kira The Dragon Master]

An older elf walked towards the front of the regiment. He watched the cloaked-rider approach. "A woman." He said to his fellow soldiers. He halted them and stood waiting until the woman approached them on horseback. He smiled at her. "Welcome. We shall escort you to Rivendell."

[Rorah]

I smiled at the Elf, who guided me towards Rivendell. "What business have you here?" He asked gently.
"I have come from Rohan, for some medicine for my people. They have fallen sick, and many are dying." The man looked grave, and nodded slowly.
"Illness is a terrible thing, we will do what we can to help you."

[Kira The Dragon Master]

Marowen's green eyes flew open yet again as the sound of footsteps approached. This time they were accompanied by hoof-steps as well. She walked to greet the band of Elves, and the newcomer. She studied her closely. "You come seeking our medecines." She observed, studying her horse. "Come with me. These men shall feed and groom your horse." She waited for the woman to dismount.

[Rorah]

I dismounted Eoen, stroking her fondly before giving her reins to some Elves, who guided her off without nothing more than a slight bow of their head. I smiled at the woman. The women back in Rohan weren't lying. She was as beautiful as I had been told all the Elves would be, their porcelain soft skin ever so slightly reflecting the afternoon sun.
"Thank you. I appreciate your help greatly." I followed the woman as she lead the way.

[Kira The Dragon Master]

"I have been to Rohan once, many years ago. A great land. It is our pleasure to help you." She turned and gave her a soft smile. "May I ask what your name is?" She continued to walk, her movements gracefull.

[Rorah]

"My name is Ibaria (Ee-bar-y-a). I have never been to Rivendell before, but I have heard many great things about it." I paused and gave her a smile. "May I ask your name?"

[Kira The Dragon Master]

"Marowen (Mar-oh-when kinda like Bar oh when)." She looked up into the trees, paused, then continued walking. "It's odd. I would expect humans to send a man to do something like this." She looked over her shoulder at Ibaria. "Though it isn't a shame they chose you."

[Rorah]

"Well..." I shrugged. "Women are usually the one to stay behind. But all the able-bodied men are out fighting." I sighed. "Only the women and children are left, and it seems that I was one of the few that were healthy enough to come this far."

[Kira The Dragon Master]

"I see." Soon a glowing silvery light was visible through the trees. "We are almost there." She parted some bushes, revealing the beautiful Elven city. She turned to watch her walk forward.

[Rorah]

"Wow." I was taken by the design and the calmness of the city. "It's beautiful."

[Kira The Dragon Master]

Marowen nodded. "This way." She continued on to one of the larger buildings, towards the center of Rivendell.

[Rorah]

When I had gotten over the beauty of the place, I followed Marowen deeper into the heart of the city. Elves went about their daily business, as calm as they had been before I passed.

Marowen walked up the steps and walked into the buidling. An older elf was arranging herbs and medicines on shelves in the back. She turned and looked at them. "Ah, I was expecting you." She picked up a bottle of something green, and brought it over to them. She looked at Ibaria, and held the bottle out to her. "Just a drop of this should help cure them." She turned to Marowen, inclining her head to her. "M'lady, your father wishes to see you and our guest." And with that she turned to go back to the herbs.

[Rorah]

I accepted the vial, thanking the woman, and turning to Marowen. "Your father?" I asked. I wondered why he would invite me too..?

[Kira The Dragon Master]

Marowen nodded solemnly. "Come, we mustn't keep him waiting." With that she picked up her dress so that it didn't trail on the floor, and walked down the steps. She dropped her skirts and continued onwards to the largest building of all. It was fairly open, but most buildings were. She walked to where she knew her father would be. He had light blonde hair very similar to hers, only straight. He watched them approach.
