She drops her crane position and hops down, tilting her head. "You tired?" She asked.

I yawned again. 'Hell yeah. Been on the move for ages.'

Claire walked into the hotel room. "You can sleep here. I'm not tired." She smiled at her then walked outside to the balcony.

I watched her curiously for a moment, before going inside and sitting on the bed. I didn't want to fall asleep, it was too risky. Even thought she didn't like the Star Runners, I couldn't trust her. At least not yet.

Claire leaned against the railing, looking at the sky. She sighed and closed her eyes. She opened them again, reavealing red robotic like lenses. She scanned the area, and upon seeing nothing unusual, she set them back to normal.

As wary as I was, I leaned back so I was lying on the bed. Wow...this bed was comfy...
I drifted off into sleep slowly, letting the blackness take me over.

I was in a room, it looked concernedly familiar, it was large and round...with ancient pictures hanging off the walls. There was a creak of floorboards behind me, I spun around, and faced the figures that were approaching. The sneering faces of my mother and father drew closer out of the blackness, they seemed taller then me. All of a sudden I was forced to my knees, an invisible power shoving me down.
'You have to join them Raven.' My father said. 'Your mother will make sure of that.'
'And what's she going to do?' I asked through gritted teeth, my mouth didn't seem to want to move.
'You know perfectly well. She creates force fields, Raven. She could crush you.'
'But she won't will she? Cause I'm to precious.' I snapped back, jaws still clenched together. I looked at my mother. She had an awefull far away look on her face, yet she was looking at me, her eyes glazed over, her expression unreadable.
Then the pain began. I could feel my lungs being constricted, as though they were being squeezed then ripped apart. My windpipe opened and closed, so I was struggling to breathe, my vision was going...I let out a yell of pain as it started squeezing my ribs apart, breaking them, ripping them...

And I woke up, screaming, drenched in sweat.

Claire ran into the room, and looked around. "What's wrong?!" She practically screamed.

I jumped so bad I fell off the bed and hit my head (Rather painfully) on the bedside table. My vision went blurry, and continued to go out of focus and re focus. I rubbed the back of my head and wiped the sweat off my forehead with the back of my other hand. 'N-Nothing.' I stammered at once. I was such a bad liar.

[LOL it all seemed to happen at once XD]

"I'm not deaf I could hear you screaming." She looked around. "Was someone in here?!" She started shifting through everything, hoping nothing was taken.

'N-No, no one was in here.' I stammered, feeling my ribs to make sure they were in working order. 'I just...' I broke off, running to the bathroom, slamming the door and promptly throwing up in the basin. I hung my head over for a moment, sitting on the closed toilet seat, my eyes still watering from the pain in the back of my head. I gingerly felt the lump that had risen there. I brought my hand down and looked at it, there was blood on the tips of my fingers. I quickly cleaned the sink and scrambled for some toilet roll. Wetting it, I placed it on the bloody spot on my head. I winced as the water stung the wound.

She walked over to the bathroom and gently knocked on the door. "You okay?" She asked.

No I'm just bleeding cause I feel like it. 'Yeah....fine...' I said almost drowsily.

She narrowed her eyes. "I can help you with your head."

'Y-you can?' I asked, my eyes beginning to close. I was struggling to stay conscious.

I could barley make out her figure as she entered the bathroom...my head throbbed like anything....

Claire examined the back of her head. "Ohh...yikes. This might hurt a little." She cringed as she placed her two forefingers against the cut, and pressed. After a few minutes the cut fused back together, leaving a layer of new pink skin. "There'll be a scar but it should be okay." She took a towel and wiped the blood that had gotten on her.

I gritted my teeth, trying not to scream as the pain throbbed through my head. Eventually it subsided, and the drowsiness gone. I blinked a few times to make sure, and shook my head. 'Thanks...'

"Sorry if it hurt. Can't really help those things..." She smiled at her. "Wanna go back to sleep? I don't care."

'No!' I said quickly. 'No, I-I don't want to go back to sleep.'

"Alright..." She furrowed her eyebrows. "Then ah...you wanna go get something to eat? I have some extra cash we can use." She smiled sweetly.

'Yeah.' I said, glad there was something else to talk about. 'I'm hungry.'

"What're you in the mood for?" She asked, opening the door and motioning for her to come out. Seeing as neither were in pajamas, she thought it was okay.
