I watched as the girl I had met earlier transformed into her lynx form, also watching as the other guy socked them into the noses. All over the room, people were transforming into their forms. From small mammals to birds, the whole room became a zoo within moments.

Lynnsy tried her nose. She took in every scent in the room. She lauged on the inside and cut herself easily on the leg with her claws. She was a dnagerous weapon.

Austin flapped on the ground. Being a shark with out water didn't help much.

A door slid open. A rather old man stepped into the room. "Change back you animals!" People formed slowly back into their human forms in seconds. "You are here today for many reasons. The first is to run some tests." The man sorted the animals by species like cat, dog, plant eating African animals, and more.

I was shoved into the 'cat' category before I could even as much as think about my morph. Obediently, I waited for the next command, being shoved up next to a kid who had just changed back from a tabby cat.

Lynnsy stared blankly at Rohan. She was a cat? Or at least morphed into one.

The man lead them to stamina places. Soon they were at the last test. "Obstacle course! The true defenders will live through! They stupid will die." he scowled.

Lynnsy shivered. This was life or death.

"You may use both forms. Proced one by one." The man smiled.

I exchanged glances with Lynnsy, before facing the obstacle course infront of me. I was shoved to the front of the line by all the younger kids, and I stared back at them furiously for a moment, sighing, then turning to look at the obstacles. It looked simple enough...I concentrated on my tiger form, feeling the tiger mind take over my own. My skin melted into fur, my body extending to create the enormous bulk of the tiger. I feel forwards and landed smoothly onto my paws, feeling extremely powerful. I completed the course, only knocking over one of the obstacles, which involved crawling through a small space, and being a huge tiger, it wasn't the easiest of things. I decided to stay in my tiger morph for a bit, it felt awesome.

In seconds the course changed again. Another person was shoved forward. Lynnsy cringed as a stake hit the girls heart. She felt a deep sadness. Stepping forward she looked at the course. A narrow pathway with small spikes. Changing into a lynx she set foot on the path. Immediatly the walls started closing in. Lynnsy dashed. The walls were inches away when she jumped out on the other end as the doors closed. She sighed in relief.

I watched as Lynnsey completed the second course, and I soon followed, grazing myself on one of the spikes, but flying through the course, landing smoothly on the other side. "Nice one." I gave her a toothy grin on the other side.

"Ya. What's next?" Lynnsy said, her whole body shaking. Seconds later the ground beneath them split in two and started moving in toward the walls. "Hurry!" she called out and leapt to one of the sides. She started racing against the clock.

My heart was racing. My head pounding. And my tiger brain loved it. It relished the adrenaline, it fed off of it. In an instant I dug my claws into the ground, propelling myself forwards even faster, but nowhere near as fast as the agile lynx. What the tiger specialized in, was muscle. I leapt from the moving platform to a safe, secure platform, my supple joints absorbing the impact.

Lynnsy's heart pounded faster than it ever had. The adrenaline made her rush to the other side in seconds. As Rohan jumped to the other side she shivered. "This place gives me the creeps." she breathed.

I let out a laugh. "Really? I think it's brilliant!" I wanted more, more adrenaline...more action. I was pumped.

"Adrenaline?" That's when she realized how much she enjoyed it too. Her blood was rushing through her veins like it was running down a very steep hill. Water started rushing in from the walls. "Lucky you, tigers can swim well." Lynnsy smiled and jumped into the water.

Without hesitation I jumped into the water, powering my huge pawpads, propelling me through the water. Part of my cat brain was annoyed about the water, but the other half was insanely glad about the cool water.

Lynnsy was having trouble, her small body not able to keep up with the rush. She broke the surface momentarily to breathe, but was soon under that water again by a huge wave. She pushed her legs hard. Feeling the beat of her heart against her chest. The water seeped in her ears. Sliding under the crack in the bottom she was able to breathe once more.

I followed her, squeezing through the crack, the bulk of my muscles only just squeezing through. When on the other side, I shook myself dry, my fur becoming poofy.

Linsley popped up on the other side of the course, having only changed into her dolphin form to swim through the water. She took a deep breath and shook her head, sending water droplets flying.
