[/i]Soon enough I got out, and was on the run. I didn't have time to save my best friends or my family. It was me, Joey, who got out. Later I came back for them. I took them all with me. We now live in a forest, but they are still looking for us. The people who want to do science on us. We are in a forest now, but not for long. I know they are after us...

Other: The tattoo on his face is the mark of his last pack, for he was the alpha. The alpha female was killed after a gunshot wound, and after that things just went downhill. His pack seperated, after further attempts to capture and kill them. He now wanders alone.

Kronos drank from the lake, soft ripples stretching across the mirror smooth surface. He kept his eyes peeled for any danger, and ears perked for any foreign sounds that might prove a challenge to him. He stood up, his well built muscles rippling underneath his pelt, and padded off in search of some food.

He searched for what seemed like hours, and upon finding nothing, he settled down in a cave that was neither his nor warm. Swishing his tail slightly, he waited for something tasty to walk his way.

Fire trotted through the woods with her nose to the ground tracking a rabbits scent.She hadn't eaten in 2 days so she was hungry and she had to make sure she found the rabbit.Then she saw it.The fat juicy rabbit was sleeping right outside of it's burrow with it's back to her.Fire took two more steps before she jumped and killed the rabbit.When it was dead she set it down and threw back her head in a triumphant hunters howl.Then she started eating.

A few minutes later....

Fire lay next to what was left of the rabbit and let the sun heat her black pelt.The warmth mixed with her full stomach had her tired beyond belief.So instead of getting up and going back to her den she curled up where she was and took a nap.

Joey looked around. She couldn't stop thinking about the people who were coming to get them. At least everyone had escaped the horrible people. She sighed and layed down, her mind full of thoughts.

An hour later:
Joey woke from her nap. "I FELL ASLEEP??!!" she yelped not even realizing it. Joey's stomach growled with hunger and twisted in pain with thirst. With her stomach acting up it was a little hard to stand but she overcame the weakness.

Joey made her way out of camp in search of some nice water and a filling meal. Seeing a squirell fly by she gave chase. Her paw landed on the creatures neck breaking it.

Minutes later:
Joey finished her meal and kept going in search of water.

Kronos growled impatiently as food failed to leap past the entrance to the cave, so he got up and walked around for a bit. He eventually caught the scent of a dead rabbit no so far away, so he padded over to the spot, but stopped dead in his tracks as he saw a female wolf fast asleep. he set his ears back, and decided not to disturb her, so he walked away from his potential meal.

Eventually he spotted a small fox hunting, it was easy kill for Kronos, who had been used to killing much larger things such as stags or even bears to contribute to his former pack.
Eventually nothing but bones were left of the little mammal, and he was full for now.

Fire woke up with a yawn,her tongue curling inside her mouth.She got up and stretched then caught the scent of another wolf.It was close by so she trotted towards the scent.It was an old trail but Fire had no trouble following it.Soon she came upon a male wolf,Fire bristled.So this is the one who snuk up on me in my sleep,she thought viscously.Sunfire moved so that the wind was blowing his scent to her and hers not to him.

He yawned lazily and stretched, glancing around him, sniffing the air for anything. Nothing caught his attention, so he took a stroll.

Sun moved behind the brush making no sound as she followed him.She was to busy preparing for a fight that she hadn't notice the wind shift,carrying her scent to him.

[Rorah]

He tasted the air again as an unfamiliar scent came drifting towards him. it smelled like the female he had encountered before...He turned around, just to see her hiding in the bushes. He flattened his ears, tensing his well built muscles.

Fire knew this scenario well enough that most wolves fell for it each time.Head low,ears flattened against her skull,and tail between her legs,Fire came out of the bush acting submissive.When she was close to him she lowered herself to the ground and rolled over to expose her belly and throat.If he was from a pack he would know what the sign of submission met and if he had been a loner his whole life then Fire really was going to have to be submissive because pure loners were stronger than pack loners.She was a pure loner so thats why she could fight easily but she didn't know about him so she let out a whine and exposed her neck even more.

He raised and eyebrow and one ear. What was....he inspected her for a minute, before backing off. 'What is your name, wolf?' He asked before making a move. Kronos was far too experienced to let his guard down this soon.

"Sunfire,but others call me Fire."She said as she rolled over but stayed laying where she was.

[Rorah]

'What have you come for, Fire?' He asked.

She let out a slight whimper before she said,"A protector."aka an alpha.

[Rorah]

'If you are looking for an alpha you have come to the wrong place. I am no alpha.' He said, with a touch of sadness in his voice.

Fire now put a touch of sadness in her voice as she asked,"Are you sure?You seem like an alpha to me."

[Rorah]

Kronos shook his head. 'Not anymore.'

Fire stood up and shook her pelt with an,"Oh."then sure turned to walk away but in a cold tone she said,"Then you have no one to help you fight."she whirled around and jumped at him her pointed teeth ready to rip him apart.

[Rorah]

Kronos had always been ready for the unexpected ever since he met this female who was so willingly submissive, and he wasn't surprised when she turned around, fangs bared. He leapt out of the way and dug his teeth into her rump, pulling them out of her before he made a wound too deep. 'I don't want to fight you.' He growled.

Fire yelped when he bit into her rump.She stood still for a moment glaring at him.Then she started walking in a circle around him.

Kronos' eyes followed her every move.
