Kyo waved behind her and walked to photography, pulling out her DSLR. She sighed and leaned back, turning the camera on and looking through the pictures she had taken. She murmured something to herself, then closed her eyes, pulling her hair back and tying it into a ponytail.

Kyo walked to her locker, and then looked around for Alex. When she saw that he wasn't there, she sighed."Prolly went home..." She muttered to herself. She walked to third hour, and saw Sierra talking to another boy. She'd never seen him before. She watched them for a moment, then looked away and hurried to her third hour class.

Alex was sitting on the steps of his house, waiting for Kyo. He saw her coming up the path. "Kyo!" He called. "I need to talk to you." Kyo stopped and looked at Alex sternly. "You were right. She is here, but there was no need to skip school. She kept asking about you." She sighed. Alex nodded. "Yeah, I'm sorry. But she's just the person we need!" Kyo smiled at this, but the smile quickly evaporated. "One problem, there's someone else here." She felt she needn't say more.

Kyo felt her pocket vibrating. She quickly pulled her phone out. "It's from her." She muttered, reading it. She texted her back saying, "Yeah. He's fine." She put her phone back in her pocket and Alex asked, "What'd she say?" Kyo smiled. "She was asking about you."

"Umm...near where we first met. The only horse property for a very long way." She smiled. "We weren't planning to do anything, just hang out. I have a dog though, if that's okay. He tends to get really excited and jump on people." She sent the text and began walking towards her house. She smiled as she saw her dog running around her horse. Alex followed and watched her closely, not taking his eyes off of her as they walked. 'She seems distant....' He thought, and she turned to him. "I can hear you." She said, giggling. He grumbled.
