Nicole wrapped her arms around his neck,and continued kissing him.

Derek gave a soft mm of surprise as he felt her arms round him, he wrapped his own arms round her waist to hold her to him as he fell back to the grass

They had been kissing for about 20 minuets when Nicole's mind came back to reality.She pulled away from Derek and sat up.

Derek had been lost in the moment and he was brutally brought back to reality when she pulled away. It was dark now, the stars were out, he sat up from the grass, "Wow, it's really late," he commented, he looked at Nicole a bit worried, he wondered if he'd gone too fast

She jumped when she heard a coyote howl again,this time closer.She looked around and saw the horses had left. "We need to get back to the truck."Nicole said while standing up.

"Right behind you," Derek said, he took Nicole's hand and pulled her with him to the truck, looking round making sure the coyote wasnt anywhere nearby

Nicole let him hold her hand.When they got back to truck she closed the tailgate and whistled.Luka came running up,"Come on girl lets go for a ride."Nicole spoke to the dog and opened the door.Luka jumped into the truck and got in the backseat.

Derek opened the driver's door for Nicole and jumped into the passenger seat. "It's pretty late, I guess you're gonna go back home now?" he asked, he wondered where the day went, it had been so fast

She laughed,"So your going to walk back to the school,then drive home?"She said smiling at him.

"Well I'll see you get to your house safely first," Derek grinned. "I can just walk all the way home, I've done it before," he said.

Nicole jumped out and did the gate routine again,"Ya well I'm home alone for the next couple of weeks so I'd rather drive around then go home and sit in an empty house."She sighed.

Derek climbed over the gate as well. "Being home alone sucks," he said. "Maybe we should hang out sometime, I can keep you company while your parents are away," he grinned.

She laughed,"Sure,whatever."She said.

Derek walked after her. "So where's your house?" he asked, he wondered why she wasn't going in her truck

"Do you really want to see my house?"She asked.

"Well as long as I'm walking you to it I might as well," Derek grinned shrugging. "Only if you want me to that is."

"It's up to you."She said smiling at him.

"It's your house, your decision," Derek laughed. He walked beside her, and put his arm round her waist as they walked

"Fine,you can come see my log mansion of a house."She said with a roll of her eyes.She smiled to herself,liking the feel of his arm around her waist.

Derek laughed, "I'm starting to like the sound of it already," he said. He pulled her a little closer to her, so their hips were touching as they wlked to her house

Nicole slipped her arm around his waist and put her head on his shoulder,then laughed,"Damn, today has been one hectic day."

Derek smiled he liked the feeling of her close to him, he blushed a little wondering if she even knew he never had a girlfriend before "Yeah..but if all hectic days are this good, i could do with more of them" he laughed and gave her a kiss on the cheek

She looked at him smiling,"You missed."She said and kissed him on the lips.
