Meraunda blinked with surprise. "Me? But....I mean...me?" She spluttered, utterly shocked. The woman nodded. "Now go train, you'll know when the time of the prophecy is when it comes." The door opened behind them and they were blown out by...something.

Carter blinked rather shocked as they got pushed out. He glanced around for a moment before looking down to Meraunda "What just happened?" he asked a little confused. She was the other part of the prophecy, but what did that mean for them?

"Apparently the fate of the world is in our hands, but we don't know when that happens." She told him, still a little shaken. "Come on, let's go." She ooh a deep breath and descended the stairs. Meraunda headed outside, then turned to him. "What do you think it means?"

Carter looked over to her quietly "I think it means we better stick together" he said as he followed her down the stairs. When they reached the bottom he sighed softly before looking over to her as her words rang through his mind. "And I'd assume I'm the blue and your the green" he added simply, with they're eyes and such.

Meraunda looked up at him and straight into his eyes. "Huh. Makes sense." She smiled at him, then nudged him with her shoulder. "Come on then, there's a campfire tonight." She took his hand and headed down the stairs, which were easier to get down than to get up.

Carter looked at her quietly for a moment before gently squeezing her hand. He smiled softly as he thought about the campfire "Maybe we can throw little stones at those annoying girls" he teased slightly as he walked down the massive set of stairs.

"Sounds like a plan to me." She grinned broadly at him over her shoulder, and finally reached the end of the steps. She turned to him and furrowed her eyebrows. Then, suddenly, she hugged him. Just kind of a full blown hug. "Thank you." She murmured.

Carter looked at her rather suprised as she hugged him. He froze slightly for a moment before gently wrapping his arms around her "Your welcome" he said quietly although for what he wasn't exactly sure. He held her for a moment before gently letting go of her "Camp fire?" he suggested quietly.

"Right." She squeezed his hand and started down towards camp, where they had already started the fire. When they reached it, she sat down and smiled up at him.

Carter walked with her quietly and let out a soft breath before sitting down beside her. He glanced around the area quietly for a moment before looking back over to Meraunda "Please tell me we do not have to sing silly camp songs" he mummered quietly.

"Of course we do!" She laughed as one of the counselors began singing. Soon everyone joined in, including Meraunda.

Carter laughed but didn't sing. He looked over to Meraunda quietly with a small smile as he watched her before looking into the fire quietly.

The sings eventually ended, and they started passing around sticks and marshmallows. Meraunda handed Carter his, and scooted ever so slightly closer to him.

Carter looked down to her slightly and smiled before taking the marshmellow stick from her. He looked down to her quietly for a moment before smiling and getting himself a marshmellow, roasting it quietly.

Meraunda started roasting her marshmallow, rotating it slowly to golden brown perfection. She pulled it out of the fire and popped the gooey marshmallow into her mouth, getting some on her fingers. She grumbled and started roasting another one. Glancing up at Carter, she smiled and sighed contently.

Carter burned his first marshmellow but ate it anyways. He grabbed another one quietly being a little more careful about this one. He glanced down to Meraunda watching her for a moment but his mind slipped and his marshmellow burned again. He shook his head softly and blew it out, before eating, just desciding to give up.

Meraunda laughed softly, amused by his burned marshmallows. "Good job." She said with a smile, handing him a marshamallow she had just roasted.

Carter chuckled softly and quietly took the marshmellow from her quietly "Thank you" he said quietly before plopping the marshmellow in his mouth. He looked at her and smiled softly before looking down into the fire before he could blush.

Meraunda smiled and looked at the fire, watching the flames dance. She yawned and leaned against Carter, closing her eyes. She sighed again,the smile not leaving her face.

Carter looked down to her quietly and smiled. He watched the fire for another little while before letting out a soft breath and glancing down to her. He thought for a minute before quietly starting to fool around with his powers, careful to make sure that no one else noticed.

Meraunda opened her eyes and looked up at him. She watched him intently, then finally someone said it was time to go to bed. She sat up, rather begrudgingly, and looked at him. "Ready?"

Carter blinked quietly snapping out of his thoughts as the person spoke. He glanced over to Meraunda and smiled softly "Sure" he said quietly as he stood up. Realizing he still had her hand he grinned and gently pulled her up to her feet.

Meraunda grinned at him, then started walking. "Which cabin are you?" She asked, walking beside him and swinging her arms.

Carter looked over to her quietly with a small smile "20A" he said quietly pretty sure that had been the number on his door. He thought for a moment before looking over to her with an easy grin "I'll see ya tommorow then?" he asked quietly as they came closer to the cabins.

"Ya kinda have to." She grinned as they reached his cabin. She paused and glanced around, then quickly stood on her tiptoes and kissed him on the cheek. "I'll see you around." She turned and started walking towards her own cabin, waving to him from over her shoulder.
