Carter looked after her rather suprised as she walked away. The kiss he hadn't honestly been expecting but he'd take it. He smiled slightly to himself before going into his cabin with a big grin plastered on his face. He sighed softly and pulled off his sweater before laying down on the bed.

Meraunda headed to her cabin, grinning as she got ready to go to bed. She brushed her teeth and pulled her hair into a ponytail, changing into some basketball shorts and an old t-shirt. She laid down on her bed, still smiling. Her cabin-mates gave her strange looks, but no one asked anything. Eventually she fell asleep.

[time skip....or....midnight meeting orrr....any ideas? XD]

Carter had fallen asleep around ten and was awoken by one of the council members at about midnight. He sighed softly and groaned about not wanting to wake up only to get a bottle of water poured on his head. He sighed and sat up pulling on a pair of sweats and a t-shirt before following the guy out, not really sure what was going on.

Meraunda was rudely awoken to being poked by a Council member. She grumbled and got up, putting on a hoodie and some tennis shoes. She followed the woman out of her cabin, and was taken to the woods. She blinked when she saw Carter. "When I said see you later, I didn't think it would be quite so soon." She said with a laugh, going over and standing beside him.

[any ideas on why they were dragged out of bed? XD]

Carter gave her a sleepy smile and shook his head softly before letting out a soft sigh "Yeah me neither" he said hoesntly before gently taking her hand. He looked at the members quietly for a moment before back down to Meraunda a little confused.

ooc; uhmm. say the school received an letter or something? Some sort of threat or hint to what was going on? Idk. Perhaps an uprising in the supernatrual world or a Rebellion or something...

Meraunda squeezed his hand, shrugging. She was just as lost as him. The woman who had been at the head of the table before looked at them, then began speaking.
"Im sure you two are very confused. As are we. But, we have received a letter that we believe has something to do with the prophecy." She paused and took a deep breath, then continued. "It leaves us to believe that there are a group of supernaturals, very powerful ones, plotting to create an uprising and eventually take over the world." Meraunda gasped, instinctively moving closer to Carter.

Carter was sure his jaw almost dropped to the ground. He looked down to Meraunda before back up to the council members "What are we suposed to do about it?" he asked rather confused. They were still kids, he hadn't even had a lesson yet to learn about his powers. He looked down to Meraunda rather nervously before back up to the council members.

The woman shrugged. "We don't have all these answers. But you must begin training now." Her eyes flashed as she looked at the both of them. Without warning, she transformed into a tiger. The other members transformed into other wild cats as well. Meraunda started backing up. "I forgot..the council are shape shifters...and they're brutal trainers...run!" She squeaked, turning and taking off as one of them snarled. She pulled Carter after her.

Still half shocked Carter was dragged after her for the first few steps before he picked up the pace running with her. He winced slightly as he ran throwing stones at the council members with his mind automatically trying to get them away from him and Meraunda.

Meraunda altered direction, keeping an eye on where the council were going. "We're gonna have to work together. I'll keep an eye out, you keep trying to hit them. I'll tell you where they are."

Carter stayed on her heel quietly and nodded "Okay" he said as he ran with her. Seeing a set of glowing eyes he picked up a stone and hurled it in that direction hearing a painful yelp. He winced slightly severly hoping that wasn't going to get him in trouble.

Meraunda glanced back at him. "Dont worry about hurting them. That's what they want. Throw something about ten feet to the left." She directed.

Carter looked at Mer before chucking a big rock over towards the council memeber. He heard a scream and he winced slightly but kept running with Meraunda adrenaline pulsing through him.

Meraunda stopped, looking around. "They're running away....probably have something planned. At least we can rest, but keep your guard up." She sighed and sat down, releasing her grip on his hand to do so.

Carter let out a soft breath as the stopped. He looked at her for a minute "Look, see what you can see" he mummered softly as he caught his breath.

Carter looked at her for a moment before letting his eyes slip across the forest rather nervously. He let out a soft breath trying to get some of his energy back.

Meraunda looked around, then held his hand in hers. "It'll be okay. They'll stop when the sun comes up." She squeezed his hand and offered him a hopeful smile.

Carter looked at her quietly and nodded, he let out a soft breath and closed his eyes for a moment. What he didn't want to admitt was that he was getting weaker, he didn't use his powers all that often, he wasn't used to using them this much.

Meraunda studied him curiously. "You alright?" She asked tiredly, resting her head on his arm and yawning. "I wish this could have waited till morning..."

Carter looked at her quietly "Tired" he said softly before looking around the forest nervously. They had to stay on guard or they'd be doomed.

Meraunda looked around, finally catching sight of the Council. "They aren't near by us." She told him, looking up at him with a small smile. "You can go to sleep. I'll keep an eye out and wake you up if they come back."
