Jay knew what he was going to do. "No," SHe replied with a smirk and looking over at him with a suspecting spark in her eyes.

"Huh? What?" Corey asked, looking puzzled. He wondered why she was looking at him that way.

"Nothing." She turned her head and smiled, almost laughing.

"What? What?" Corey asked, even more puzzled now. He scrambled up beside her. "Tell me!"

Jay turned her head, and blinked when she almost hit her head to his. "Nothing!" She laughed and punched him in the arm. "Chill out!"

Corey blinked as they nearly had their faces together, but laughed as she punched him. "I'll chill if you chill!" he laughed and tackled her to the ground, tickling her.

"Ah!" She squealed and pushed him off, pinning him down. "Gotcha." Jay smirked and sat on him.

"Ticklish, are you?" Corey grinned and tickled her even if she was on top, trying to pin HER down

Jay laughed and held his wrists down. "After tackling tigers, I'm pretty sure you'll lose." she promised playfully.

Corey laughed. "Never argue with a girl who's pinned a tiger down I guess," he grinned, staring into her eyes

Jay let out a lighthearted laugh and lookde back down at him. "What?" She asked softly, smileing brightly.

"Nothing," Corey laughed quietly, just enjoying looking up at her. He tried struggling against her grasp "Damn you're storng!" he laughed, just as he broke free he ended up sitting upright abruptly and face to face with Jay.

Laughing Jay shrugged one shoulder. "It's kinda nessasary." She told him, looking over at the ocean.

Corey held his breath, their faces had been close together but she turned away. He looked to where she was looking. "Well you know I'm here to help now," he said, and laughed "even if I may not be as strong as you."

"You will be-" Jay looked at him from the side. "when I'm done with you." She joked. "Hey, you're hands are better," She touched his hands.

"Oh good," Corey said, looking down, his hands were really much better. He liked the feel of Jay's hands on his.

"It's almost noon - I'll go get lunch." Jay stood up and started to her house.

Corey nodded and got up, following her in

"What are you hungry for?" Jay asked, looking over at him.

[masquerade]

"Oh, anything that's available, I'm not picky" Corey said. "What do you want to eat?"

Jay shrugged, "I was just thinkin' random fruits. Then, we can do pretty much what ever." She explained.

"Alrighty," Corey nodded. "Where do you want to eat?" he thought he'd like to eat somewhere else than the dining table

Jay gave him a seprate bowl and started walking along the beach. "So, where are you from? Like, before you came here?"

Corey took the bowl and walked with Jay. "I was from Chicago," he said "Well, actually I was adopted. I dunno why my parents bothered adopting me though they never did treat me like a son, more like a servant." He frowned to think about what he used to go through "I decided to stow away on a boat, but we got caught in a storm and i got washed up here."

Jay nodded. "I'm sorry," She gave him a saddened look. "I'm from colorado. I love hiking and eaploring, so that may be a reson I survived." She smiled faintly.
