"Yeah," Jay looked down. "I was on a plane to finally go to the Philipenes with my dad, and my mom was coming." She looked out into the ocean. "Then this storm hit and. . . . I was the only survior."
re:
"I'm really sorry to hear that," Corey said, at least he didnt have anyone to love to miss but Jay did, he put an arm around her warmly "Or maybe they're out there somewhere? who knows if they survived like you did?"

"I saw them." Jay hugged him, gently, closing her eyes trying to push the thought away. "I watched them die."

(( lol cya ))
Corey was surprised when she hugged him, he put his bowl of fruits down and hugged her back, almost protectively as if that could help take the memories away. "I'm sorry," he said quietly

"Its okay, it's probably not as bad as never being loved by your parents," Jay replied slowly. She smiled weakly. "At least we've both got eachother." She said quietly.

Actually Corey thought it probably felt worse than never being loved, at least he didn't miss his parents at all, but Jay was carrying her own burden. "Yeah, we do," Corey said. His fingers stroking her hair he looked into hereyes with a smile. "And I won't leave you. Promise."

Jay wanted to lean in and kiss him, but she'd only known him so long and he looked so much like him. . . "I'v just noticed this yet, but. . . you look so much like-"
"Help me! I can't find peace!" A voice pleaded in her ear - and she knew exatly what it was. "I have to go - I'm sorry, Corey." She smiled at him and walked further down to the beach. "You coulden't find a better time to pop up?" She told the person, which she knew Corey woulden't hear or see.

re:
Corey wondered what she was going to say when Jay walked away and seemed to be talking to no one at all. Corey blinked, confused, and watched her for a moment
