Athena passed a girl and boy talking in the hall. They smell like me. She thought. She watched as they continued talking. She felt secure-comfertable- around them. Athena hovered by, hearing their conversation about Australia.

Athena's eyes widend in shock. She waved a confused and nervous one back. She flashed a smile of her white teeth and turned her head back to the front. But her eyes kept drawing over to the two kids. She really didn't want to butt in, but she felt the urge. A itch of urge rose in her, telling her to talk to them. In class. Athena told herself. She turend into the same classroom as the two kids and smiled.

Nic headed to the teachers desk. She indicated a place for him to seat, and he headed over to it. He crossed his arms in nonchalant manner, waiting for directions.

Athena smiled greatfully and shook his hand. It was warm and soft, making her relax and feel comfertable. Not wanting to let go, she di anyway, knowing it would be kinda creepy if she kept holding it. "Thanks."

Athena blushed. "Since the beggining of the school year. I used to live in South America. I'm American though." She told Nic casualy. She felt so comfertable around him, like he was like her. Was he? Athena shrugged inside and looked at him, heart pounding.

Athena forced back saying she ate them. She smiled and nodded. "So I heard you were from Australia." she told him. She looked at the board and scribbled some notes down.

He nodded. "Yeah, born and raised there." He grinned, flipped his hair again(oh god *faints* you should see it in my head), then looked up and wrote what the teacher was writing down.

"Sometimes. We didn't live to close to the beach, so we usually went in the summer. What about you, Miss Tropicana?" He beamed cheekily at her.

I sat down next to Nic, taking in the conversation they were having, while looking busy. Already, this new girl had annoyed me several times, her constant happy mannerism getting the better of me, although I wasn't particularly sure why I was so eggy.
